Bhavesh, he posed very nicely for you...wings spread, sitting calmly...you must be a bird whisperer!!I've been reading up on Ganesha...there are certainly some beautiful statues of him all over India. I really want to see the one in Pune!
Thank you Carmen. Let's hope I get to photograph more and more birds in the future. You have to visit Dagdusheth Ganpati in Pune. But beware, there's huge crowd 24x7 over there.
Beautiful bird Bhavesh..striking pose!!
I'm glad you liked the photos Linda :)
Standingat the air lecterndisplaying full plumagehands held outin messiah position, addressingall the trunks and bushesI practised my maiden speech.Only to hear wild crowd noisesshouting against meand approachingfrom the leftiron rods and tarand ink pots in hand. I watched, wings together, terrified, and looked away,thinking.....And I raised my wings, once again,to shrug off all doubts, taking couragefrom the man, after whom the garden was named. He would havebeen amusedat the thoughtless protestsin throwingdark colorson someonewho was already black, but shining..
Simply superb :) The Little Cormorant must be happy to read this.
Fantastic photos. Bravo!
Thank you :)
