2 buffaloes grazing near Kas plateau

2 years back, we went to Kas plateau [see Kas plateau photos also]. On the way back, there was this yet another pleasant site. The 2 buffaloes were lost in the enjoyment of having their lunch :) I did not disturb them, but did not even miss the chance to record them in my pixel memories. What say? I am sure you like these "nirvana achieved" 2 buffaloes grazing near Kas plateau.

  2. They look very content, Bhavesh, munching away. These are water buffalo, right? They look so different from ours!

  3. @ Cloudia: Mahalo!

@ RNSANE: I have no idea. But these must be water buffalo. Ya, they look somewhat different in different continents. How do they look at your end?

  5. Time stand still in the gaze of nature. The eyes to capture this, highlights the essence of the soul, the person behind the eyes. When nature synchronizes herself with our concept of time, we call it miracle.

  6. @ cyclopseven: A real miracle, no trick :) I was lucky to feel it. And I feel so happy that a person so far away from here feels the essence of the photograph — the real beauty of it.

  7. You can see pictures of our American buffalo, also called bison, at the following:

  8. @ RNSANE: It's completely different. The one you have shown is a bison. The Indian bison looks quite like the American version, but the one above is the Indian buffalo, which is a live stock like cow.
