This indeed is one of the best pictures of my Kas Plateau trip. Clear flower bed background, and a beautiful bird perched on a rock!

Look at the antennae! Maybe, those are the seeds.

This insect was so small! The flower in the previous picture was as small as 1 cm in diameter. Now imagine the size of this small creature :) It was photographed at the beautiful Kas Plateau.
Sorry for overstretching this picture, but this insect was so small, and I had to show it to you all! Do you see the cute little orange-like blob with 2 red dots as eyes? The stretched picture above is a part of the photo above it. The flower was about 1 cm in diameter. Now imagine the size of this small creature roaming on it :)

Bhavesh, your artistry with the camera is unparalled. You really have a heart for both photography and nature!

I love all of the photographs. I would love to run and run in those fields of purple!

The "duck" flower is amazing, it even has that funny, squinty "eye" of the duck looking back at us. And the violet bunnies are too cute.

What a gorgeous part of the world.

  10. I must admit I don't like purple too much but I sure do like purple flowers in fields like that. Are they lupines?
I had a hard time getting to the comments area, I must admit it takes always a long time to scroll down on your blog which doesn't not occur eslewhere. I am wondering if I am the only one to whom it happens...

The problem you have mentioned is known to me. I have now highlighted it on the top of the page just below the footer that this website may function slow on internet explorer, but will perform great on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Those are amazing browsers indeed.

  34. Hey Kcalpesh,

I've given driving directions in my main post on Kas Plateau. There's not much information about this place on the internet. Not many people know about it. If you need help in getting there, let me know. I will guide you on emails. If anyone is damn interested in arranging a guided tour there, as you might know, I do conduct tours in and around Pune.
