Bell Flowers

Twin Bell Flowers on the shore of Dimbhe dam backwater

I don't know the scientific name of this beautiful flower I found near Bhimashankar. To be precise, it was near the shores of the Dimbhe dam backwaters.

About 5 feet tall plant was just decorated with these beautiful flowers. Do you know the exact name?

  5. Nature in incredible. That flower has been made to have so many ways to lure in a bee or fly or bird and thus become pollinated! I love the little "bit of cloth" hanging down, as if to advertise its nectar with a banner.

Over on Our Simple Life, the blog writer is a botantist and I will send her your link! She knows many thousands of plants and might know this one!
